The AAC has a strong presence in the Deep South!

Deep South climbers are a very active group of members who take numerous weekend trips during the year. What this group of states lack in quantity, they make up for in climbing quality: Boat Rock and Mt. Yonah in Georgia and Sandrock in Alabama are only a few. The Deep South Section is also home to the Southeastern Climbers Coalition (SCC), a very active group of climbing activists.
